Reclaiming Our Bodies (In-Person)

This world isn’t built for our bodies to feel safe, grounded, or connected. For Black femmes and gender expansive folks, our bodies and nervous systems are often in survival mode, fighting to be well.

This series is a soft place to land. A space to reconnect, co-regulate, and remember. Through gentle trauma-informed movement, somatic + nervous system practices, sound healing, and shared care—we’ll gently return to ourselves, together.

Tending the Wound:

Tending the Wound:

Tending the Wound is a sacred 6-week trauma-informed outdoor yoga series created for this moment in history when so many of us are still carrying unprocessed grief from the pandemic, navigating layers of poly-crisis, and feeling the ache of collective sadness for humanity.

We are not meant to carry these burdens alone.

This space invites us back into relationship with our breath, with our bodies, and with one another. Through trauma-informed movement, grounding breathwork, and restorative sound healing, we will tend to what hurts and remember what matters: our shared values, our capacity for care, and the simple, radical act of seeing each other as fully human.

We will gather outdoors in community at Hamden Green on Saturdays from August 23 to September 27, 10:00–11:00 AM, creating space for connection, reflection, and restoration. Come as you are. No prior experience needed, just a willing heart.

Together, we’ll remember what it means to be a good neighbor.
Price: $90 for the series.
